you will need to customize the loop, you will need to pull the options then exclude it

Okay, so do you know how to get rid of or not display them in the archives so that when a search is done these don't show up?

The page you are linking to is an Archive page, the slider posts are in that loop(thats how the WordPress generates the posts its spouse to be like that)

for two this is how the theme reacts for archive pages this isnt the same as the Calendar listing(on the hope page loop)

it appears the same way in the demo when your on an archive page, its how WordPress generates them

I know. I read some other posts here and it appears mine is doing what several others have done. I even created another category called "blog" and uploaded a featured image to that. Guess what? It showed up in the calendar listing when you click the month.

Think there's a fix for this? Or, am I not going to be able to use the slider? Help?

if they are displaying on the slider they shouldnt be displaying on the calendar list

Okay, so, how do I keep the slider images from coming up on the calendar list? RE: From home page I click the black Sept and the slider images show in the list w/ the date I published them.

each "slide" needs a separate post in the category you selected

galleries are something completely different

Cool. I got one pic in there but do I need to do an individual post for each pic? I see gallery and tried to insert several pics, but only showed the first one I posted.

you just need to create a post and add a featured image(bottom right side of the create/edit post in the admin)

then set the category for the slider in the theme options

Can't get the slider working...Don't laugh at me too hard!

Could someone please help me with some step by step instructions on how set up/create/insert photos and text into slider?

I am having a heck of a time and know it should be easy, but I think my brain is fried :)
