I honestly don't know what the issue is. I can't see anything theme-related that would cause this issue you're having, so I can only assume it has to do with permissions.

Maybe just ask them if there's some kind of permissions setting that would prevent image/file uploading to a WordPress installation.

Can you please let me know what can tell the hosting guy? to check what exactly? or if uploading the logo using the customizer what kind of permissions needed and for what files of folders?

I know it was working before I updated the theme, by manually you mean clicking on "select a file" from the Customizer Site Title & Tagline? yes I did, and it's not working, could it be a permission issue rom the server?

I have updated the theme, however for uploading the logo "Drop a file here or select a file" is not working for me, when I select or drop the logo nothing is happening.
