Unfortunately this isn't a theme-related issue as uploading images is managed by WordPress and your hosting provider. The only limitations would be those determined by your hosting provider or WordPress configurations.

If you want to manually assign a logo, you can do that by opening header.php and changing the following on lines 67-68 from this...

<?php
if(!empty($logo)){?><a id="logo" href="<?php echo home_url()?>"><img src="<?php echo $logo;?>" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?>" /></a><?php }

...to this...

<a id="logo" href="<?php echo home_url()?>"><img src="URL-TO-YOUR-IMAGE" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?>" /></a><?php

Note you need to change URL-TO-YOUR-IMAGE above with the URL for the image you want to use.

I've used various image types (jpg, jpeg, png) and several different images, but nothing worked, still can not use immediately.
Has some limitation of minimum or maximum size?
Is to set the logo via source code? Which way?

I'm trying to put the logo on my website but I can not.
I'm going to customize the theme and title & description of the site, in the field next to the information appears NO IMAGE. In the new upload option, click on Select on your computer, choose the image but nothing happens and no message is displayed.
Can you help?
