Hi there,

I understand your request now. Thank for you for clarifying. Unfortunately that category layout isn't well adapted for individual pages/posts. For example, the featured image would overlay the seem of the page background, etc. As a result, this request goes a bit beyond the level of support I'm able to provide here in the forums as it would involve some redesign and testing to properly implement. To explore the cost/time associated with this adjustment, I'll have to ask that you submit a request for customization services here: http://themolitor.com/custom

Hope you understand.

Thanks!

Christopher

Hi Christopher,

Sure, happy to provide clarification.

Both links you provided are to a page with the default template, the one that I used for my Home page and for the chapters in my book:

https://tenetsforhumanity.com/
https://tenetsforhumanity.com/toc/introduction/

The page I set up for posts, however, is the only one that has the real look and feel of a book, and the writing area is wider:

https://tenetsforhumanity.com/blog/

I want to be able to use separate pages for separate chapters; not one continuous blog post. I want to use the Blog page to blog about my book and pages to publish the chapters, but I would like to use the same page template for the chapters as for the blog.

Make sense?

Thanks,

Sam

Hi there,

I'm not sure I follow. Posts pages have the same width as regular pages.

Post page: http://themes.themolitor.com/wpnovelist/2011/09/01/romeo-juliet/

Page page: http://themes.themolitor.com/wpnovelist/about/

Can you provide a link to the pages with more narrow widths than posts?

Best,

Christopher

Hello,

The Posts page has a nice wide writing area, and the Default Template (that is the only one available) is narrower. Is there a way to set a page to use that layout?

Thank you,

Sam
