Hi there,

As mentioned above, the home page layout depends on jQuery to make duplicates of posts so that they can be accessed in the tab layout. This can only appear after the page finishes loading as all posts need to be present in order for them to be duplicated.

If you want to explore alternate methods, please submit a request here: http://themolitor.com/customization-request

Best,

Chris

I was using a caching plugin but it didn't help with the loading of the homepage content. I ended up duplicating the index page, renamed it home. Basically remade the page and didn't use the jQuery calls. The home page loads super fast.

Still having issues with pages that have breadcrumbs on them. Older IE browser still take a long time to fully load. Below is a link to a page with breadcrumbs.

We are receiving a lot of emails about it either loading really slow or not loading at all. I really like how you can have different categories but not loading is not good. I'm going to try switching it to just the latest posts for now.

Can someone looking into improving this? Or let us know how to turn off the jQuery effect?

Can you turn off the jQuery loading effect for the front page categories? For some users, it takes a long time to load. Can the posts populate that area normally with out that jQuery effect. Can this also be turned off for breadcrumbs.

I've noticed that this causes issues with older browsers (old IE, safari, firefox). Its almost like the script times out. Removing breadcrumbs from the pages makes it load a lot faster. But breadcrumbs are cool.
