Hi there,

The dimensions of the browser window will dictate how much of the image you see, depending on the dimensions of the image. It's best to optimize your images for 16:9 since that is the what the VAST majority of users have.

For vertical images, just add black space to convert the image into 16:9. If you aren't getting the results you want, just adjust the amount of black space.

http://d.pr/i/h6sL are you sure about that? the images move depending on browser size if your browser is pull wide itll expand the image to fit the ratio of your browser, the theme doesn't actually crop the heads off rather the browser window

if the images are displaying at 16:9 ration they will not be cropped at all

I have this proportions - 1024x768, but....some pictures are all the same cropped, not all, only some!(in full screen) It is trouble of the template.

well unless you're posting the exact dimensions of the images they will be cropped again its a limitation within WordPress image functions

WordPress Crops Images from the middle(only way to change that is to modify the core files)

you can edit the image sizes in the functions.php starting on line 33-35

you can also set the cropping to false on like 34(change true to false) though that may break the layout of the theme

note: if you change the image sizes you will need to use some type of plugin to re-generate them

no, ckelly, i am speaking about horizontal position of the picure! all my pictures are horisontal. and some(not all) are cropped.

Thats actually a limitation http://srobbin.com/jquery-plugins/backstretch/ (the plugin used), portrait photos will get cropped when fullscreen

make sure you back up the files before modifying them

1.in homepage in tabs i see the "list" tab-tab for blog, i don't want this tab.

and also one thing: how to make 1 page without text content, like in example? only menu, and if i click home-menu button i am going again to menu page? in my variant- i have a static page, and if i push this button i am coming to this info-page
