Thanks Chris, that takes the [...] out, but still doesn't help with the half filled columns, I'm dealing with a site that has over 1,500 articles. So adjusting the excerpt one by one is out of the question...

Chris I am not opposed to the [...] I just think it should be at the bottom of the column and allow the column to fill with text, rather than half way down. I know I can go in and edit the excerpt, but that leaves me guessing how much text will be displayed in the column and often cuts off the read more button...

is there a way I could move the default [...] to the bottom of the column and allow the text to fill the column naturally without having to insert an excerpt and then edit it to fit the column?

Hi there,

That only shows up if the excerpt box is empty. Try adding an excerpt message and this will remove the [...] text and also allow you to control the amount of text that displays.

I would like to remove the [...] at the end of each article preview. This is actually cutting the article shorter than it would be when I use the 'read more' tag. It also leaves a large white space under each article, where text should be.

How can I remove this, and let the Read More tag determine how much of the article will be shown?
