thanks for your quick reply anyway.

I tried forcing the show of all labels using map styles from gmap3 but it had no effect. It seems like all possible labels are already displayed.

I did find this which explains what the labels are called: http://www.google.com/support/places/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=174115

I'll keep trying and update this if I find a solution.

I think that is a unique feature of maps.google.com. I don't see anything in the maps API for that functionality. Sorry.

If I go to maps.google.com and zoom in on a city, I see a lot of labels on nearby buildings showing e.g. nearby bars, convenience stores etc.

If I go to my version of the navigator theme and zoom in on the same city to the same zoom level, I don't see these extra labels for bars and convenience stores.

Q: Do you know how to make these extra labels appear?
