Make sure the custom CSS box has the "text" tab selected and NOT the "visual" tab. If that doesn't help, please provide a link to your site and I'll take a look.

It does not work. I pasted your code snippet above to the Custom CSS section in Theme options and the mesh effect is still there

Hi there,

The dots are actually just an image pattern, so you can simply replace the "mesh.png" image file (photopharm > images > mesh.png) with an image that has dots more spread out.

And how to increase or adjust the size of the dots? I noticed by your tutorial the dots are more bigger. And i find that more artistic.

Just add the following to the Custom CSS section of the theme options panel...

#mesh {background:none;}
