Here's what you do...

1. Open the PSD file.
2. Change the logo text to whatever you want.
3. Hide all layers except for the logo layer.
4. Use the marquee tool to draw a border around the text you just edited.
5. Go to the edit menu and select "copy merged".
6. Open the "logo-trans.png" file in the theme's "images" folder
7. Paste the image you copied.
8. Make sure you align the layer properly.
9. Save the file with ONLY the newly pasted layer visible.

That should do the trick :-)
