Hi there,

Make sure when you copy/paste embed codes that you're using the "text" tab of the content editor and not the "visual" tab.

Best,

Hi there,

You can put videos in the content area, but the 1st panel is reserved for video project items. The main reason being the theme needs an easy way to determine if the post is being used for a video project or not.

Best,

Chris

Thanks, Chris. That was precisely the case. But does that mean it is not possible to have videos inside the blog item?

Hi there,

The theme is looking to see if you have video embed codes provided. If you do, the theme will treat those posts like project items. Simply omit the video embed code to have the post display like a traditional blog item.

Best,

Chris

thanks, Chris, but my problem is that when I create a post it will appear as a "project like" post with video and credit roll etc. What i would like to create is a clean blog-like post. i can see that you have it in your "news" category in the producer video on youtube but you don't explain how to create this type of post…

sorry about the many questions :-) I really dig your theme

Steffen

Hi there,

You just create a post and assign the "News" or "Blog" category you created. Please keep in mind, these forums are really only intended to help with issues related to the theme. For questions about how to use WordPress, please be sure to utilize the WordPress support forums: http://wordpress.org/support

Hi there,

You need to use categories, not pages, to display posts like that. You can assign category links to your menu on the menus page. For more info, please review this video:
