Hi, for those trying to figure out how to do a more 'old skool' home page with just list of current stories; or starting point for custom sets of stories (loops based on specific category, or catgory n+n-x) done differently than the very cool theme home page; what we did to start a custom home page ... was clone the archive.php tenmplate and rename it home.php, then start editing from there. For our purposes everything for the site is marvy, but we ended up wanting to do something different for home page mid-way through the dev, but loving the other pages. Hope that helps somebody :-)

I'm using the Daily Press theme for a site I'm working on. We use the Custom Content Type Manager plug to add custom content types. We need to display them on the front page. Does anyone know where/how we can add an array of post_type to the theme? It appears the theme is just pulling post_type: post and we need to add the others as well.

Help!
