Hi there,

Currently WordPress does not have a clean way to assign background images for category pages. It's definitely possible, but requires a lot of hacking that I do not think is a good idea.

Is there a way to change the background image for a the Cast page? I have the main header image but it does make reading the bios a little tough as the lettering kind of fades into the image.

Hi there,

Are you just wanting to create a page like the "Cast & Crew" from the demo site? If so, those are standard category pages. All you do is (1) create a category, (2) assign published posts to the category and (3) add a category link to the menu -- not a page link, a category link.

WordPress automatically creates category pages for you and will display all posts assigned/published to that category.

Hi Chris,

I've looked through the instructional material (this time) and cannot find where it references how to add aside posts to a page, or to a page template. I've tried using each template (default, Center, Gallery, Review + Video, & Video), but none seem to grab them. Can you please point me in the right direction.
