Hi there,

The home page displays the latest video post. To change the video, edit the post that's being displayed and adjust the video link/URL there.

Hope that helps!

Best,

Chris

hmmm... so I uploaded the demo file. Good news! I have a video! Bad News! It's the demo video. I went to the demo trailer video post and changed the self hosted video file (I have the mp4 on my server) to the url provided on the media page. Still seeing the demo video. I gues sthe question is how to link video posts to a page. thanks.

Hi there,

Your video container is empty. This seems to imply that you do not have a video post properly setup. Be sure your post has the "Video" post type applied.

Also, be sure you're clearing your cache plugin each time you make changes (or deactivate it for the time being).

Let me know.

Best,

Chris

Try deactivating any additional plugins you have active (like JetPack, etc.).

Let me know if that has any impact.

Best,

Similar issue. I set up the Static Home Page, created a "review+video" page labeled "home", set up a post with my video (on my server) embedded in the post and listed in the meda library. I get the "play arrow" on the home page, but no video plays. Please advise. Working in Chrome, website - 2inthechambertheseries.com

Nevermind, I figured it out finally. For anyone else with the same issue. You create a page and save it with the video page template. Then you add normal posts where you can insert the url of the video. The page automatically plays all videos you add as posts.

Hi, I can't figure out how to put my own video in a page. I create a page, set it as video template. How do i load the URL of my own video instead of the videos the template is loading? (full screen). I just want to load one video, full screen, not load these default videos. There is nothing in the documentation about this.
