OK, I'm officially an idiot. I managed the much more technically demanding stuff like updating my PHP version, installing and compiling GD etc but missed that it was picking up the first image for thumbnail... lol I am a doofus.

The Theme works great, I love it... thanks so much for your hard work and not making me feel stupid with your reply.

Will definately check out your other themes and post a link when it's finished so you can have a look at my customised school site based on your template.

STEP 8 - Thumbnails for posts and featured posts are generated from the FIRST image UPLOADED to the post. If you have trouble with thumbnails, please view this thread on the forums: http://www.themolitor.com/forums/topic/important-requirements-for-the-thumbnails-images-to-work

I'm sorry to bother you with this, I love the theme, it's great and I can get everything working except this one thing.

The thumbnails are all being generated no problem for the existing imported content but when I want to change the thumbnail shown or insert one for a new post how do I do it?

I thought it would be the set featured image option but that seems to be missing entirely.

Everything else works great but I'm pulling my hair out trying to work out how to associate an image with a post. (Probably me being stupid but I am a web developer so I thought I would have been able to work it out)

Your help would be much appreciated.
