You're using a static home page. You need to use the default home page by NOT selecting a static page on the "reading settings" page (i.e. keep it set to latest posts).

Hi there,

I can confirm the code view doesn't add p tags. It's likely that you used the visual tab first and that caused the p tags to show up initially. You may need to save a couple times with the code view active or toggle the tabs a couple times to reset the editor, but as you can see in the demo, p tags are not added via the code view.

Regarding the menu, I really don't have advice on organizing the menu beyond how the site is setup to organize the menu content (i.e. menu > category > posts).

I don't have any Pages to assign a nav menu to point to.

When I remove the P tag from the welcome text, it is automatically re-added by Wordpress. This happens when I am in Code view.

I hadn't assigned my Menu category in the theme options panel. Doing so places the menu posts on the front page.

Can you look at the following PDF menu and advise how I might structure my posts to work with your theme?

Hi there,

It doesn't look like you've finished setting up your site. You still need to assign a navigation menu on the menus page and remove the p tag from your welcome text below the logo (it's pushing the text it to the left instead of center).

Also, have you assigned your menu category in the theme options panel (under "menu stuff")?

It does help, but I have created posts, and they're not showing on the home page.

I have a parent category called Menu, with 4 subcategories: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Dessert.

The two posts I have created belong to Breakfast.

I have no Pages, so I believe the Home page should be displaying Posts by default.

Yes, each item is a post and each section of the menu is a category child of the menu parent category.

Hi. The user guide that came with the theme does not actually say how to add food menus to the website.

Is it one post per menu item?
