You can use the standard "link" tool/feature from the WordPress editor page for the post you would like to add a link to.

Hi there!

How can I make a link that appears on the homepage an active link? I want to be able to display a video on the front page, (using the video template), and in the text that appears next to the video, I want a link to go to our fundraising page (which is on an external site).
