This is not explained in your help file but I believe how you do this is to create a new Post Category .. I created one called News. Then in your OptionTree Menu under Home Listings Select that News Category.

Molitor,

I have read through your help.html file and watched your youtube videos. Your instructions on the help.html file says "HOME SLIDER & FOOTER CAROUSEL CONTENT" with instructions on adding something to the home slider. "To populate the slider and carousel, you need to create posts in the categories you specified in the OptionTree panel." I have created a categories section, titled SPONSORS, i choose this in the option tree panel for carousel, I am selecting this category for the new post to add a featured image and link for a sponsor and it is showing up above my other news posts in the website blog/feed. How can I fix this to show only the image in sponsors?

Sponsors do show up in the feed since they posts. If you're referring to the RSS link on your site, you can customize the feed URL to only link to a specific category. Here's more info: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Feeds

Every time I try to add an image to the sponsors slider, it shows up there, however it also shows in the news feed and has its own post. How can I disable that? I am putting the images in as featured image by starting a post. How can I add images to sponsors slider without them showing in feed/post?
