Thanks Justin, I actually had to re-install everything. Luckily I could recover all my posts, their geo information and more.
The site is up and running again. It still needs some finishing touches on backgrounds etc. Trying to bring back the map on menu items instead of background pics and so forth.

The Onswipe Plugin wasn't creating the issue, it was working before I had the "multisite event". I have re-installed it along with all other plugins and works perfectly now.

Thanks for your quick response! The them is great and love the fact I was able to recover it.

The Wuckel,

Couple things to try:

1) Remove that iPad plugin! If the site works fine on iPad, that's likely a big reason on why it won't work in desktop.
2) If that doesn't work, please contact Synology and have them give you a fresh install of Wordpress. Anytime I receive an error that is not a 404 Error within the theme, but rather a branded server error, it leads me to believe there is an issue with hosting.

Let me know if those solve your sites issues.

Thanks,
Justin

Hi There !

Ok, to start with I admit I did something stupid. I tried the multisite feature of WP. However it wasn't working as expected. I think I reversed pretty much everything, but for some reason I can't get my installation to work again. You can access the site here: http://wuckelig.dyndns.org/wuckelblog/

The weird thing is the homepage works just fine. As soon as you try to navigate beyond it, it doesn't work and my Synology server throws an error message (its German and means it can't find the page you are poking for).

Does anybody have any idea how to fix this? I would really appreciate you support. I probably need to know what happened with my multisite attempt. Unfortunately I don't have a back up. Yes, I will change that once I get it back to work...

EDIT #1 Hm, forgot to mention, that when I look up the SQL table I do see entries that have a suffix _2 like "wp_2_commentmeta". I recall reading somewhere this is related to my multisite attempt.

EDIT#2 I am using the Onswipe plugin for iPads. When I access the site via my iPad I can actually navigate perfectly. Everything incl new posts for testing purposes appear.

Many thanks in advance
The Wuckel
