When I add a page or post, I can see the page in public, but when I type the root domain, instead of any frontpage, I get the message : "This site is under development

This page indicates the webmaster has not uploaded a website to the server.

For information on how to build or upload a site, please visit your web hosting company's site."

Can anyone please help me?

Hi there,

If you're using the default homepage built into the theme (not using a static page), you just need to create posts that have map data. Also, make sure you have a blog category selected/created and that none of your map posts are in that category.

If I select any category in the general theme options, I get the message "You need to add posts to display on the map." after loading the front page. The category already contains a few posts. No static page is chosen.

The only way I am able to get anything to display is by setting the them option for Category to "Uncategorized" and by changing from a static to selecting a home page.

I changed the settings back after it didn't work to ensure clients could still see it. When I did the recommended settings it didn't work. Also, with the settings the way they are I have a box there still. Not sure why it is not displaying on yours. I tried it on a proxy as well and the box displays.

I just changed it to show latest posts and a category is selected under the Theme Options but nothing shows up on the main page them. Just a grey image and the default text.

I was able to remove text box by setting home page to latest posts. My only concern is what if my latest post is a blog entry?

I may have missed the memo about properly setting up the theme but I created a page that I selected as the homepage under the "Reading" section of settings. Everything displays correctly and the website is working fine, but I would like to get rid of the hovering page box that appears. Is there a way to toggle this on or off? Or did I setup the homepage incorrectly?
