Thank you for your response. This did not work. Is there a way to have my latest posts show up on the homepage at the top. To be clear I would like the homepage to show the latest post but without having to scroll down past the background image.

You can try adding something like this to your Custom CSS box on the Customize page...

body.page-id-18 {
    padding-top: 400px !important;
}
body.page-id-18 #topPanel {
    padding: 250px 0 !important;
}

Please keep in mind I have not tested this approach as it's just an idea off the top of my head. To target a different page, just change that "id-18" to the id of the page you want to target.

I would like to reduce the height of the background image on the "Latest Posts" page to be reduced. I am using the "Latest Posts" for the homepage with no welcome message and I want the content to be closer to the top. Can you help?
