@ hickmanroad look in the top right corner of the post page there should be a tab call screen option click it and make sure that the featured image box is checked, I know sometimes the upgrade that gets removed

OOPS! Sorry about that. But setting the feature image is not an option for me. I just upgraded to the newest Wordpress and don't know if that had anything to do with it. But I no longer have the option to set the feature image. I can give you the admin if you want to look...

@ hickmanroad thats a different theme and you need to set the featured image, its trying to load a blank image which is why it isnt displaying

switch the slider category in the theme options, see if it appears if it does, delete the old category you had set and create a new one named the same thing

Yes, I am positive. In theme options I have chosen the category Slider which is category of for posts that I created specifically for the home slider. none of the posts with the Slider category are showing up in the home slider.

My image slider on the home page suddenly stopped working. I have created a category called Slider and marked my posts accordingly with featured pictures, but none are showing up in the slider.
