You bet! :-)

If you're enjoying the theme, PLEASE don't forget to rate it on your downloads page on ThemeForest. Positive ratings REALLY help me out.

Thanks!

Hi there,

That's a little tricky, but you can try copy/pasting the content from index.php into a custom page template. Since this goes a bit beyond the level of support I can provide, if you need help with this, I'll have to ask that you submit a customization request here: http://themolitor.com/custom

Hope you understand.

Best,

Hi Chris

Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction with the custom post option - I knew it was something straightforward I had overlooked. I'm all sorted with that now.

Can you let me know how I can recreate the elements on your home page as I will build the home page as a page in it's own right.

All the best

Vicky

Hi there,

Unfortunately your domain and splash page setup isn't really a theme-related thing I can help with. I recommend using a plugin to block access to the site while using a splash page in its place. Here's a popular one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-maintenance-mode/

Regarding the custom post option, currently all you're doing is assigning a variable ($name) to represent the data. You need to actually echo that variable in the space you want it to appear. Review the single.php page template for examples. If you need additional help, I'll have to ask that you submit a customization request here: http://themolitor.com/custom as this goes beyond standard support requests.

Hope you understand.

Best,

Hi,

I'm setting up a website with the Eventure theme, and have a holding page in place on the index.html file, which is also the root domain: http://www.sidefest.co.uk. I'm building the Wordpress site in the background, but need to be able to view the home page, but from the way that the theme is set up, I can't find a way to view it, as it always defaults to the root domain, ie. the holding page. Is there a way around this? I'm happy to build a new page and set it as the home page in the Reading options, but how would I then pull in the slider, calendar and other features?

Also, I'm adding some Custom Post Options for the posts. I have included the following into the post-options.php
array(
'name' => __('Name: ', 'themolitor'),
'desc' => __('Name of interviewee', 'themolitor'),
'id' => $prefix.'name',
'type' => 'text'
),

I added the following into the single.php file:
$name = get_post_meta( $post->ID, 'themolitor_name', TRUE );

It shows up in the admin section of the post, and I can add the name, but it doesn't show up on the live page. I realise that I'm missing something, as I'll need to set the icon somewhere as well, but I can't see where. Could you please point me in the right direction, as I need to add a few more new ones.

Other than that, this seems like a great theme without too many bells and whistles to overcomplicate things.

Many thanks

Vicky
