Hello Chris,

I adjusted the date as you said : <div class="sliderDate"><?php echo get_the_time('d.m.Y'); ?></div>

but now the date shows like this on the slider : ‘02122016’

Do you know how can I get the dots back?

Hi there,

To make changes to the date layout, open slider.php and locate the following on line 16...

<div class="sliderDate"><?php echo get_the_time('m.d.Y'); ?></div>

You can adjust the m.d.Y value there.

Regarding the loading times, have you tried using a caching plugin? WP Super Cache is my preferred plugin for caching.

Hey Chris

On the home page the date on the slider is showing in MM.DD.YYYY format which I want as DD.MM.YYYY format. Is it theme related?

Also, even a 212 kb images is taking more time to load on the slider than others. Any pointers to the issue?
