That did fix one of the problems. I'm trying to make the home page look like the home page that you have as the live preview but I'm having trouble figuring out how to make the categories display correctly.

Hi there,

Thanks for purchasing!

Just to clarify, are you wanting to remove the post filter feature (i.e. "All items", etc.), or are you wanting to remove the posts that are displaying?

By default, the latest posts appear on the home page. To remove the default posts feature, simply create a page and assign that as the home page from your Customize settings page (appearance > customize).

If you just want to remove the category filter, add the following to your Custom CSS box on the Customize page...

body.home #postFilter {display: none;}

Hi,

I just purchased the contractor and I'm using a non-static home page. I can't figure out how to hide the category section. Right now it says All Items and Featured but on the live preview there aren't any categories listed on the home page.

Beautiful theme though!
