Wat is the related code? I also would like to stop posts showing up on my home page.
How can I remove this?

So far I have figured this out, too. I took the related code out of the header.php page.

I assigned a page called "Home" to display as the home page. I was expecting a blank page but the featured posts appear on it. I found out how to take out the featured part but it is still listing posts. How do I tell the theme not to put blog posts on the home page? I would like to define where those posts show up.
