As home page I have selected a blog post and not a specific page. In the slider i selected a specific category, but still all categories appear under each other.

<p>Be sure that all your categories for the calendar have the same parent category assigned (i.e. "Events", etc.) and that the parent category is selected for the calendar on the Customize page.</p>
