As long as you have (1) posts with featured images (2) assigned to a specific category that (3) is assigned as the slider/tab category, posts should be appearing just fine.

In order for me to look into this further, I'll need to log into your site and look around and make sure everything is setup as it should be. Unfortunately this is not covered as part of my standard free support services I provide here in the forums. In cases like this, I'll have to ask that you submit a request for customization services as it seems like you're just having trouble setting up the theme. Keep in mind, if I discover that the issue lies with the theme itself (and not with standard theme setup), no charges will take place.

Hey Chris, thanks for the reply.

I double checked and confirmed that 1. the posts are properly categorized and 2. the proper categories are set on the customize page.

As you'll see, the featured category is not appearing in the slider -- instead, it takes the newest post of any category, in this case, some dummy categories I made for the tab section. 6 posts are in the featured category, but are not showing up in the slider.

1. Can you confirm that you have your posts properly assigned to the "featured" category that you have created/assigned?

2. Can you confirm that you have posts assigned to the categories that you created/assigned for the tabbed areas?

Hello Chris, thank you for designing this great looking template.

I have a few issues I'm unable to address with the content on the home page. I don't have a lot of experience with Word Press, so perhaps they are very simple fixes.

First is the featured post slider -- I have it set to a certain category ("featured") in the Appearance > Customize settings , but it seems to take any new post regardless of category. How can I make sure this slider takes only the "featured" posts?

Second is the tabbed menu system below the featured images. For some reason, I just cannot get it to show up. I've read the documentation and gone through many posts on the forum, but I am not quite sure how to set this up. I have chosen the 5 categories in the Appearance > Customize page, but nothing appears on the home page. Am I missing a widget here?

It seems like Word Press is just ignoring my categories altogether. Perhaps this is an installation or configuration issue? Any idea on how to resolve this?
