Hi there,

Make sure you're entering the name of the category you want to use on the page you created, under the 'custom post options' section of the page edit screen.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks!

Hi

Sorry I think I've confused you. For the sake of my issue I will call the page that pops up when you first click on my website the 'front' page. I have created a separate page/category/menu called 'home'. In Dashboard, Theme Options, I have set this as 'home' Page to control what Posts appear on my 'Front' Page. That works fine.

However, when you click on the 'Home' tab at the top, I want it to appear the same as the 'Front' page. However, every post I write, no matter what category I file it under, is still appearing on the 'Home' tab in the menu at the top. My website is http://www.kaylastoate.com How do I stop ALL of my posts appearing in the 'HOME' category......for example if I am writing a post to be categorised in my 'Blog' menu tab, I am ONLY clicking Blog in the category it is to be filed under, but it is still automatically saving itself to the category called 'Home' as well.

In a nutshell I want the 'Home' menu tab to appear with the same content as the 'front' page.

Thanks

Kayla

Hi there,

If you want a static page for your home page, select the page you want to use on the "reading settings" page in your WordPress dashboard.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Hi

I've created a new menu to appear at the top and called it Home. However, since doing this, ALL posts are automatically appearing on this page. I don't want my blog posts to appear on the 'Home' page. When creating a blog page I am only ticking 'blog' as the category I want the post to appear in, but it is still automatically putting it in 'Home' as well. How do I stop this?

Thanks, Kayla
