Lets see if i can explain this, on the "widget page" under appearances using the aid template, i am want to show categories of the blog on the home page of the template, when i select the category widget and place it in the sidebar it shows all the categories, (featured posts, slider, news, etc. But i only want to show News and any custom categories that I make, not all of them)

Here is the problem I use the options on the widget categories and deselect certain ones and they still show up, i think there is a bug somewhere thanks
