Hi there,

Without knowing what the cause of the problem is, I really can't say which file would fix the issue. My best suggestion is to cover all bases and revert to the default setup of the theme.

Best,

Chris

Is there a specific file that this information is contained in that I could try updating? Rather then updating the whole theme?

Hi there,

Unfortunately I'm not sure what the issue is. I haven't seen this happen before, which makes me think it's something unique with your setup.

Having taken a look through the source code, something is definitely off, but I have no clue what it is. My best suggestion at this point is to revert to the default theme as I'm not able to troubleshoot this issue.

Let me know when you have a default setup of the theme running and I'll check it out.

Best,

Chris

I haven't made any changes to the animation in the template files. The only change I have made to those files was an update to change the blog menu icon and the change to add the ticket icon.

Hi there,

Have you made any edits to the template files? It looks like there is some additional animations being applied to elements that isn't there by default.

Let me know.

Best,

Hey Chris,
I've deactivated all of the plug-ins except the Super Cache plugin and Contact Form 7. Also, I've optimized all of the images that are currently in the header to bring down the load time. It seems that this has made the header transition animation run faster, but the odd scaling persists.

Thanks for your help!

Hi there,

I still see plugin markup in your source code. Looks like an AJAX calendar or something.

When scrolling the site, I can see the header doesn't operate like it does by default, so something is changing the script behavior of the theme. Unfortunately this isn't a theme-related issue, but has to do with a plugin or customization that is causing the problem.

Let me know when you have all plugins deactivated and I'll take a look.

Best,

Chris

I deactivated Jetpack and installed Super Cache. This doesn't seem to have fixed it. It appears that the content is loaded but what ever is controlling the transition is causing the header to initially load shorter then it should and then quickly expands out. It also doesn't seem to be consistent on what height is is assigning this area either.

Hi there,

I see you have a lot of additional scripts running. Try deactivating additional plugins you have installed (especially Jetpack) and let me know if the issue persists.

Another thing to try is a caching plugin. WP Super Cache is a nice one.

Best,

Chris

Working on creating content for the header slide show. When I first started, each page in the header loaded smoothly and going between pages the animation was smooth. Now that I have created more pages (currently I have 4, 1 unique and 3 place holders) the load and transitions between pages are jerky. It seems to expand far to heigh and then over compresses. The opacity transitions seem to be jerky as well.

You can view the page here: http://fearfair.com/index.php/index.php/index.php (the url is a current work around because of the use of an .html splash page)

If this is relevant, these issues are noticeable in:
Safari 6.0.5
Firefox 20.0
