Just a question for Politico.
I want to set the title for a website but it appears as a link in the header. (that goes to home if I remember correctly)
Please let me know what I can do to have no links show in the header area.

Mostly going well.
Please tell me how to remove the link to the homepage that is in the header.
There seems to be an ie problem where the link shows in blue and goes across the whole screen!
Nothing there in other browsers though. - Hate ie...
I would prefer no link there anyway as one can go to home from the navigation.
I temporally deleted the website name in general which made the blue link go away but the area is still clickable and shows in ie.

Here's the Facebook plugin used. Just throw the embed code in a text widget: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like-box/

Regarding the calendar, are you referring to the built-in WordPress calendar widget? If so, yes, that only displays post publish dates (like an archive).

Regarding the countdown, that's only coded on the home page.

Hi Chris
Some more newbee questions. What is that facebook widget called in the sidebar with the many small icons and how do I install that? Do I need to get a wordpress plugin or is it built in already?
Does the calendar only reflect post in the various dates?
Can the countdown timer be placed anywhere other than under the header?

I'm not sure what "grey image" you're referring to. Are you talking about the logo? If so, that is available in the PSD. If not, please clarify.

Hi Chris, great theme.
I'm very new to wordpress and themes and am learning and customizing at the same time. I do a bit of photoshop too. How does one get a similar grey image to the one you used on the top of the page as in the demo?
Do you have a sample you can send that I can customize as I really like the effect.
Then the next question, what would be the size etc. to blend with the grey background, where do you go to upload the image?
My home page does not look like yours as far as the posts with the pictures go either, am I missing some files?
An error says that that what I'm looking for is not there, this is where the posts were on your demo.
How do I add posts with pictures on the main page?

A lot said, hope you can help, I'm sure that once I get past those 2 major issues, I should be on my way.
