Yes, I accidentally left that in there, I was trying to make the gallery work for me. I'll check out the link for the CSS you just sent. If the customization box is working then I should be able to control the opacity of the header from there. I'll test it.

Hi there,

It appears your Custom CSS box is working as I see this added in your source code:

.attachmentGallery {display: 1;}

The issue is that's not correct CSS markup. "display: 1" is not a proper value for the 'display' property. More info here: http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_class_display.asp

I would actually appreciate it if you can help me figure out why the Custom CSS box didn't work, at least for other code I might have to put in. Let me know what you need from me to do that.

Hi Chris. I got it to work. I went into the WP dashboard and edited the CSS stylesheet from there.

Hi Chris. I've tried that several times. It just doesn't "take" - I see no change at all. I looked at some CSS samples to see if my syntax was correct, and it appears to be. Could my CSS customizations not be registering?

To adjust the transparency, change the opacity value posted above. Example...

#topBarBackground {opacity: .5;}

Adding the script in the CSS is not changing anything for me. I would like to play around with the transparency of the image (I want low transparency).

Sure thing! Add the following to your Custom CSS box on the Customize page...

#topBarBackground {opacity: 1;}

You say:

The theme is great, but I wish to use a colour image rather than a B&W image with the transparency feature.

Have you some code that I can provide my contractor that will remove/disable this feature?
