Hi there,

Regarding the header, can you provide a link to your site? I'll check it out.

Regarding the sidebar, unfortunately there are multiple elements involved (i.e. widgets, sidebars, main content area, etc.) that have an impact on the width and layout of the entire page and background. Not to mention the responsive styling for mobile devices.

All this would require some research and testing to effectively change. If it were a simple edit for a couple items I would definitely help out, but for this I'll have to ask that you submit a request for custom services as this goes beyond the standard support I can provide. https://themolitor.com/custom

Hi Chris,

I was able to make the header prominent. The only issue I'm having is that the entire image is not visble. Is there any aspect that needs to be taken care of?
As mentioned above, I would like to reduce the width of the left column widget. Please let me know what needs to be done.

Hi Chris,

I was trying to follow the instructions as mentioned above, to make my header image prominent. Not sure what went wrong. Now the entire header is missing.
Also I would like to reduce the width of my left widget column.Could you please help?

Try adding the following to your Custom CSS box on the Customize page...

#topBarBackground {opacity: 1;}

I am wondering if there is a way to remove the feature that makes the hazy blanket over the top of my header. I would love for it to be in full color without the colored "velum" look. Is this possible? Thanks
