Hi there,

Unfortunately that is a drawback/issue with how WordPress displays stickies in the loop.

You might find a solution for this on http://wordpress.org/support or possibly from a plugin. I can imagine this has been brought up to WordPress before.

I get 3 posts on the front page as a result of that instead of just the two.
