The solution from the user NeutralizeR for the tags page (t-tags.php)

I replaced $tag->name[0] in t-tags.php with mb_substr($tag->name, 0, 1, 'UTF-8')

It fixed the display problem.

I changed the google fonts to support greek but the index letters still remain questionmarks.

my guess is you need to change the font to something that supports the greek language check google fonts(theres an area to change it in the theme options)

I bought today this great theme but when i use greek characters in theme meta tags to appear in index page i have a serious problem, the title grammars it appears in questionmarks! Ιs there any way to fix that??
