Open up "functions.php" and locate the widget section. Change "Contact" to "Contact Us" and then open up "sidebar.php" and make the same edit.

But I want to keep the page's name as Contact Us. It's more friendly. How do I change the widget program to accept "Contact Us" as the page name?

Change the name of the page from "Contact Us" to "Contact". The widget is programmed to appear on that specific page.

So I did what you said above however when i go to my "contact us page" the map doesn't show up at all.

i have it pasted in a text widget on the "contact page widgets" just like you said.

if i put it in a pages widget it shows up on every page.

any ideas?

Good question!

Here's what you do...

Visit http://maps.google.com/
Search for the appropriate address.
Click the "link" button in the upper right corner.
Click "Customize and preview embedded map".
In the customize section, change the width to "300". You can use whatever height you want (I used "300" in the demo).
Copy the embed code in step #3.
Navigate to the widgets page in your WordPress installation and add a text widget to the "Contact Page Widgets" section.
In the text widget, add an appropriate title and paste the embed code into the text box.
Click "save" and you're done!

I am here again :-)

In your wp university demo, you have at your contact page the google map. How can I achieve that?
