<p>Yes, if you follow the instructions provided by Google on where to put the markup, it will work just fine :-)</p>
<p>Last I heard the best place to put it was in the footer area, but be sure to see what Google says as it may have changed.</p>

			<description><p>Hello, I want to track the visits to my site with Google Analytics but I don't want to use any plugin. I've read in some blogs that you can insert the Google Analytics code in the header.php file just before the &#60;/head&#62; tag.</p>
