Simply open the header.php file and find the div for advertising (clearly commented); remove the dynamic element function (the stuff in between the div with class id); replace with your adsense code. Simple. Worked for me first time. Usually to test this kind of thing, make copy/backup of your original file (header.php), make change to one of the copies, upload to theme folder, refresh your web page.. see if it works. If not switch back and try again where you messed up ( = trial and error + retry ). Reminder that a new adsense block created in Google's system can take hours to 'activate'. Same procedure works in the footer.php file as well.

I didn't mean it to be rude just don't agree with the company buyers are referred to charging so much for something most bloggers make very little out of. And seems it would be an easy adjustment to the theme to allow the use of adsense in those spots obviously not for me completely new to this learning as I go

Sorry you feel that way. You're welcome to try and add it yourself, but this has NOTHING to do with the Theme at all.

Looking for the same thing spent most of the day now with google trying to work it into this theme sorry but not paying $250 to have the theme customized to be able to do this when google adsense doesn't come close to making that kinda of a rip off on the poor blog folks if you ask me
