Great - that worked! - How the heck was I supposed to know that - is there some documentation I am not aware of aside from the forum and your movie?

By default the theme uses the "Featured" category to display posts on the home page. Make sure that you created this category and assigned the post you made to that category as well.

and can upload images into galleries and no problems with changing the logo etc....but I cant seem to get images in the initial gallery - which is the really nice part about this theme ....

You need to have your own hosting to use custom themes. Having a example.wordpress.com account will not work with custom themes.

Sorry to be annoying - but I was not planning on hosting this - I was just going to keep the blog - example.wordpress.com and then have that link directed to a domain name. This is what I did with my other blog = http://biomimetic-architecture.com/
If I can do this then I cant seem to ftp to wordpress to get into the wp-content directory to upload the chameleon files. Any advice? Please.

WordPress themes need to be installed into the "themes" directory of WordPress. You can access this directory by using an FTP program (if you don't have one, your hosting provider should allow you access).

I downloaded the chameleon theme and I have no idea what they are talking about here in the help pdf
STEP 1 - Download and unzip the folder from Theme Forest.
STEP 2: Upload the "wpchameleon" folder (with the files left inside) to the themes
directory of your blog, which is located within the wp-content directory.

Is this a wordpress blog that I need to create (I did) can somebody direct me to here this wp-content directory is and where you upload the files - a screenshot or something would be helpful
