i have worked it out now. If you create a post with a location. There seems to be a connection between inserting a widget in the "live widgets" sidebar.
anyway it worked for me.

The theme has a home page by default. Do not create a page for the home page.

I have just bought the superb theme and am having the same issue. Maps are coming up on individual posts but not on the home page.

I am imagining that the home page will show all locations that are inserted on all posts?

Can you also guide me please.
Thanks
Iain

Yes, you need proper map data to display the map. Can you provide a link to the page where it isn't working?

Hi,

Are you able to have maps as the background to pages or not - everything implies you can but I have am having trouble configuring it.

I can see there have already been a couple of posts about this issue but I haven't been able to found an answer that resolves the issue, also all the sites that say they are trying to do the same give the same result when I view them.

I have posts that display the map nicely, however whenever I configure a page to display a map all I get is a greyish background and the map doesn't overlay it.

I have completed the zoom, long, lat, Addr 1 and Addr 2 with the same info that is on a working post.

Please can you advise.

Many thanks
