Hi there,

That is not currently a theme feature, but keep in mind you can display the description text of the category above the map.

Best,

Chris

Thanks Chris. I was able to do this. Next question:

On the map category screen, is there a way to have a page appear on top of the map as there is when the map is the front page?

Hi there,

You can generate a standalone map page by simply adding a category link to the menu. You can create a category (i.e. "Map", "Locations", etc.) and just make sure all your location posts are assigned to that category. When users click the category link in the menu, it will display the map with all the posts on that page.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Chris

Another novice question: If I use a static front page, such as a slider, how do I get from that back to the map? What I'm looking for is a slide show on the front page with something like an "enter" button that goes to the map. Is something like that possible?
