For the slider, only posts are supported because the slider displays content based on the category assigned to the slider. Since categories only apply to posts, pages cannot be included. At least not by default.

I have the latest version of Wordpress, which I think adds the images to the post content area automatically for you to edit them easier.
But when I add the media, the images dont create a gallery tab. That must be a bug or something, right?
I will try to fix it by talking to a WP representative.

May I ask you one more quick question?
Is there a way to customize the slider in the home page? I would like it to display pages instead of posts. Do you use a plugin in particular?

Hi there,

Images should not be added to the post content automatically like that. If that's happening without you clicking "insert into post", then that's an issue with your WordPress installation (the theme doesn't have any control over content like that).

I can't really provide any more instructions beyond what's already posted above, so my best suggestion is to either create a new post and try again (i.e. upload images to the post and don't click insert) and see if that helps OR reinstall WordPress.

Please understand this is not a theme-related issue. Let me know if that helps.

I´m doing exactly that.
I attached the media to the post.
The images automatically insert themselves into the post. If I erase them, they disappear.
I was able to attach images to other posts by clicking the "add media" button, and they were inserted in the post. I erased them and the tab was created anyhow.
NOW, I don´t know what´s happening because it´s not working anymore.

To clarify, to have a gallery tab for "Post A", you need to (1) have a video embed code provided and (2) have images uploaded from the "Post A" edit screen.

You do not need to insert any images into the post content area.

Images need to be attached to the post in order to appear in the gallery tab. If you upload images from the media page (not the post edit screen), then they will not be attached to the post. You need to click the "add media" button on the post edit screen and upload the images from there in order for them to get attached to the post.

But I´m having this problems with posts that have a video embeded. That´s why I´m asking you, because its really weird.
Even in some posts the gallery tab is automatically created with the featured image, but when I add more media, the photos won´t appear in the tab.

The tabs only appear for video project posts (i.e. posts that have a video embed code provided).

I´m trying to add photo galleries for my projects, but something seems to be going wrong.
