#tabNav li {float:none;}
#galleryLink {display: none! important;}

All the images were uploaded into the media library first. I then used a "featured image" attached the image from the media library. How do I set a featured image without doing that?

Hi there,

The gallery tab only appears if you have images attached/uploaded to the post. You can simply delete any images you've uploaded to the post to delete the gallery feature for that post.

To assign featured images or insert images into the post content without the gallery feature, be sure to upload images on the media page. This way you can avoid attaching images to any specific post, but still use them by accessing your media gallery.
