Hi there,

The order of the images (and the ability to control the order) is generated by WordPress. I'm not sure why that isn't working for you. I can't think of anything theme-related that would cause the order control not to work.

I followed these instructions and everything went well until I viewed the order of the photos on the website, it does not reflect the order I put them in.

I have created a couple of pages in formatted "Gallery." I click "Add Media," select the photos I would like, and "Create Gallery". It allows me to choose the order I want the images but when I finish and view my changes the order is not correct. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?

I have the images numbered in the correct order on their title, so you can see what I'm talking about, I have attached a few links.
