This feature is controlled by the PrettyPhoto jQuery plugin and is NOT part of the core theme. Customizations available to the plugin are outlined on the plugins documentation page linked above. If you need additional help customizing this plugin, please submit a customization request as I don't have developer knowledge of this plugin to make changes beyond the options it makes available.

Keep in mind, there are lots of lightbox WordPress plugin options out there and most are free. If you want to try one of those instead, you can remove the built-in PrettyPhoto plugin by doing the following...

1. Open "footer.php" and remove the following on line 60...

2. Open "custom.js" and remove the following on lines 451-466...

I'm sorry, I looked at the documentation, but I'm not an expert. I was hoping you could help. Please look at your demo on an iphone or smartphone. You will see how small the image is when you click on a gallery item. I just want to make that image bigger, like it looks on a computer screen. Please advise.

Ok, when I changed that part of the code, it didn't do what I was asking. When you see a gallery of photos, and you click on one, it gets bigger, right? Well, I would like this image to fill more of the screen. Currently there is a gap say about 125px top & bottom margin/padding. Is there a way to make this image with less of a border? I'm NOT referring to the zoom box in the top right of each picture.

Notice I added default_width and default_height. You can play with those numbers to adjust the sizing.

Hi Chris,

Is there a way to disable just the gallery lightbox function in the code? I'm using a gallery plugin, and its lightbox seems to conflict with the theme's default lightbox. When I click on an image, it comes up in one lightbox and then the other. Here's the example, just click on any pic: http://fathomfeatures.com.previewdns.com/EverEve/?page_id=77
