You bet! :-)

If you're enjoying the theme, PLEASE don't forget to rate it on your downloads page on ThemeForest. Five-star ratings REALLY help me out and encourage further development and updates.

Thanks!

@dragosandriana

I did a test page (Gallery Test) and didn't have any issues.

Just to clarify, you need upload images from the page edit screen. If you're inserting images from your media gallery, that doesn't attach the images to the page.

When you upload, the image gets stored in a database with a page ID assigned to it. The gallery system grabs all images with the same ID as the page being displayed and shows them in the gallery. In order to remove images from the gallery, you need to delete them from your media library (i.e. delete them from the database).

Hope that helps explain the issue you're having.

Best,

Christopher

Christopher,

Thank you very much for your help. It worked when I set it to the Gallery page template and simply added the images rather than adding them to a gallery. Love the theme, love the support. Have a great day.

Is totally weird for me too.

Gallery (the background one) just works on and off with no prediction.
First I tried the simple and evident method, the recommended one. Just "add media" (images) into the page, no gallery, just the images. I get the red message "NOTICE: You need to upload images to this page to show a gallery here." Then tried to insert images into the page with all kind of different settings, different sizes, different names. Different pages! Delete the page, make a fresh one, insert, the same, the same message "NOTICE: You need to upload images to this page to show a gallery here."
Finally after a few hours! (I don't exagerate) I upload the same images with new names, make new page and it works. I edit a few lines, insert a few more images into the page, and here I go again, from the beginning, whatever I do, I get the black page with the red NOTICE. The images I edit are in the page, are also in the page's code, they appear in the "info" part, but the gallery doesn't work.
I just don't understand what makes it stop working, too many edits? I can't imagine anything else, cause I tried everything.

I use PhotoPharm v 2.1.0 and WP v 4.4.2

Any help appreciated, thank you.

Hi there,

You simply upload images to the page that is using the Gallery template. You do not click "create a gallery". Just upload images after clicking "add media" and that's it.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Christopher

Hi,

I've installed the theme and have generally found my way around it fairly quickly. My problem is that I'm having issues setting up the Gallery using the two methods described in the /HELP/index.html that came with the theme download.

When I try to set the gallery up using the Default Template the /Gallery page seems generally fine, but if you click on the actual images in the gallery it results in the following error where * is blanked out:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /***/***/public_html/katrinaweidman/wp-content/themes/photopharm/include/breadcrumbs.php on line 40

When I try to set up the page using the Gallery Page Template there is no Gallery at all and it says the following in red:

NOTICE: You need to upload images to this page to show a gallery here.

In both cases I clicked "Add Media" > "Create Gallery" and then added my images as single column linked to "Attachment Page" using size "Thumbnail"

My development site is at http://katrinaweidman.nomad-sites.com/ The page in question is at http://katrinaweidman.nomad-sites.com/gallery/ and currently set up using the Default Page Type. This is a new install so it's using 4.2.2 which I doubt should be the problem because the latest update was a security update.

Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated.
