Ah, that's the issue. You're using an outdated version of the theme (v1.1.1). The current version is v2.1.2 (Jul 2015), which no longer uses OptionTree.

Please update the theme and that will resolve the issues you have.

The gallery now works for me (but only after i reactivated the OptionsTree plugin). However the background image still does not appear on the homepage, about, etc.

Also, is there a way of zooming out of certain images in the gallery? They're full screen, so some are cut off (the vertical ones)

Couple things...

1. Deactivate ALL plugins.

2. Clear out your cache plugin each time you make a change.

I see you're using the "latest posts" option for your home page. When this setting is active, the background is generated by the posts in the list section. Try assigning a featured image to your most recently published post and that should do the trick.

Hi there,

To attach images to a post/page, simply upload them from the post/page edit screen. After they upload, you're done. They are now attached to the post and will display accordingly.

For your gallery page, I don't see any issues when I visit.

Regarding the default background image, that is not meant to display on gallery pages. Gallery pages only display the images that are attached via upload.

Just to go over the process - I add images to a page through its media uploader - go to the Create Gallery tab, select my images... and then what? Since there's no save button and only "insert gallery"?

I have the same issue. I've tried uploading the images directly to that page, however I am not given the option to save the gallery, only to insert it (which I don't want to do, right?)

Just to clarify, you need to have uploaded images to that page from that page's edit screen. Images need to be attached to the page. This is only done when the images are uploaded TO that specific page. Simply uploading images from the general media library page will not attach images to specific pages.

Hi, i have successfullly created one page with a gallery, but, when it comes to create another one with the exact same procedure, i have a box appearing saying : NOTICE: You need to upload images to this page to show a gallery here.

Thing i did. Any idea ? I tried to delete and make a new page many times, duplicate the one who work well, i am just unable to achieve this (simple) goal.

PS, on the admin panel, when i create a new page, i have, in the Custom Background Image URL box, this message : Warning: Illegal string offset 'background' in /var/www/default_vds/kli/dev/dengelen/wp-content/themes/photopharm/include/post-options.php on line 29
