That's great man, it totally worked, but I did it in the archive_blog.php file, which means it won't even interfere with the other categories.

its because the code used to render it is pulled from the excerpt rather than the full post

you can change it in the archive.php on line 29, where it says ' <?php the_excerpt(); ?>'

change too '<?php the_content(); ?>' though this may break the other post because itll pull the content where youd traditionally have the excerpt

Next question and I believe I'm good to go. I created a Blog category that I would like to have videos in. I would like it to load the actual content (embedded youtube vid) of the latest article without having a primary image set so that the video shows up. But it doesn't load the content of the post, just the "missing" primary image.

If I set it to have multiple images it does the same thing, but stacks them.

Once I click on the article to load it it's fine, but I would like it to land on the latest article upon selecting "blog" from the menu.

Any suggestions?

it actually sounds like you're entering the gallery wrong, the demo actually uses the default WordPress [gallery] shortcode on a page not within the posts/cats

You know what I did is I just made the menu link go directly to a gallery post, instead of the gallery category, which is a fine solution for me.

For some reason on my installation I don't get any option to edit the rel on the thumbnails for the lightbox tho. Any pointers there?

looks like its showing a gallery for me(3 images) did you fix it after this post?

Greetings, I've inserted a gallery into the post exactly as the instructions direct, I click "view post" it shows the gallery just fine, however when I follow the menu item "gallery" from the home page, the post is there, but it's not showing the gallery.

I've added the gallery just as the instructions and other questions you've answered.

I imagine I missing something obvious that I am overlooking, but I've done everything I can think of, your assistance is greatly appreciated.
