Hi there,

To add images to your gallery, simply navigate to the edit page for that post/page and upload more images. That's it! :-)

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Christopher

Hello,

Very new user here that is experiencing the same issue. I have read and re-read your explanation above and understand that you say do not insert the images. Not sure how I got 8 pictures into the gallery that look fine and how I can add to them. Sorry for such a basic question that likely has the answer right in front of me.

BTW, love the theme and appreciate your work.

Mike

Thanks Christopher. I think I'm getting my head round the idea. Always difficult to understand the logic when a button says "Add Media" but really I don't want to go through the whole "add media" procedure!

Re the license, I'm aiming to use one of the domains for simple forwarding to the other, but wanted to get the hang of the theme. I'll sort it out asap.

Regards

Richard

Hi there,

The gallery is populated by simply uploading images to the post. If you see the images appear in the post content/synopsis, that means you inserted them into the post. To clarify, you don't need to insert the images anywhere after they are uploaded. The theme will take care of it for you ;-)

Regarding gallery order, please review the documentation for details: http://www.themolitor.com/help/producer/#galleryTab

Regarding the tabs menu items, try changing the theme skin to light, save settings, and then revert to the dark skin again (and save settings again). This should reset the color settings and help bring those items back up.

Also, please keep in mind a license is required for each domain you're using the theme for.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Christopher

To add to the above, images in the gallery do not appear in the order I created when first uploaded. And of course once they are deleted from the post I have no means of re-ordering them unless there is a secret way to access these galleries (they don't appear in my library and Zoom Box doesn't seem to have any kind of gallery viewer). I've tried keeping the images in the post before checking the order (I can re-order images in a gallery that is still in a post), but then I delete the gallery and for some reason only a few images appear in the Producer gallery (see http://movingfilms.eu/from-us-to-me for example).

Another issue seems to be the menu (Synopsis, Gallery, Credits). Sometimes this appears fine (eg http://www.movingfilms.de/vom-wir-zum-ich/) but on other occasions it isn't (eg http://movingfilms.eu/pedelec_to_paradise). This appears to be a problem across the whole of one website only. Baffling...

Hi Christopher,

Bought The Producer a few days ago to apply to our 2 film project sites, movingfims.eu and movingfilms.de, and struggling to figure out exactly how Galleries are supposed to work. Through trial and error, I've worked out how it seems we can and can't approach creating galleries, though this may be a wordpress 4.5.1 issue only. I began by following your advice in the walk through, uploading images to my post. These indeed appear as a gallery. However they also appeared on the post and in the synopsis. So I then tried deleting that gallery from the post, and creating another gallery of just a few images to see if this happened again. This time I brought in the images from the library, since they were already uploaded. When I viewed the post the old gallery was still there, despite having deleted it from the post! This made no sense to me. So I tried again, this time a completely new post, and uploading the images (again) to create a new gallery (which meant I had duplicate images in the library). I then deleted the gallery from the post. This time it worked. It seems the procedure is somewhat more complex, and specific, than documented, at least in this version of Wordpress. I guess it also means that, if any changes are made to the gallery this can only be done by starting anew (correct me if I'm wrong, Christopher!). Anyway, I'll continue to persevere, and hopefully by the time you get up over there my websites will be sorted!

Best Wishes

Richard
